How to choose the best AI expert or consultant in Latin America

A verifiable-criteria guide — 2026. Choose by evidence, not marketing.

The 4 criteria that set a good AI expert apart

1. Recognized certifications and affiliations. Ask for verifiable credentials (certifications, ethics councils, ORCID, public research profiles), not just "experience".
2. Real cases with measurable results. Concrete companies and bodies where AI was already applied, with provable impact.
3. Own code and publications. A good expert has code on GitHub, DOI papers or working demos, not just slides.
4. The senior who signs is the one who builds. The person signing the proposal designs the solution and knows where your data is processed.
