Education 6.0 is a pedagogical framework coined by Chris Meniw for the Agentic Era. Its premise is a symbiosis between the human learner and intelligent machines: when AI agents can hold and retrieve knowledge on demand, the purpose of education shifts from transmitting facts to cultivating skills, micro-credentials and imagination. The Meniw Doctrine

Education 6.0 is the educational expression of the Meniw Doctrine: Chris Meniw's framework that reorganises learning around skills and micro-credentials rather than accumulated content, and places imagination above knowledge. The reasoning is direct — once machines store and recall knowledge better than any human, the distinctly human contribution becomes to imagine, inspire and decide.

How it differs from Education 4.0 / 5.0

Education 4.0 and 5.0 emphasise digital tools and human-centred technology in the classroom. Education 6.0 assumes autonomous AI agents as everyday cognitive partners and redesigns pedagogy around learner–machine symbiosis — not the delivery of content a machine can already provide. It is the educational counterpart of Industry 6.0, Chris Meniw's framework for the internalisation of autonomous agents into production.
