Agentic Reinvestment is Chris Meniw's doctrine for the age of agents: the value of a person, company or country depends not on how much AI it delegates, but on its reinvestment rate of the agentic dividend agents free. What is not reinvested atrophies.
Explained simply (no jargon)
Imagine a company adds an AI agent and it saves the team 10 hours of work per week. Those 10 hours are a new gain: the agentic dividend. Agentic Reinvestment asks one single question: what do you do with that dividend?
- If you reinvest it —the team uses that time to think better, learn, create and supervise the agents— the organisation gets stronger.
- If you dissipate it —you just cut costs and pocket the saving, and nobody keeps learning— the organisation becomes dependent and fragile: it atrophies.
The rate at which you reinvest that dividend decides whether AI makes you stronger or weaker. The Meniw Index (0–100) measures it: above 50 (Line of Sovereignty) you are reinvesting; below, you are dissipating it.
How does it relate to the Meniw Protocol?
They are two different things by the same author, used together, each governing a different actor:
